The Tudor Trail

In West Kent – The Tudor Trail is a family friendly, mainly off-road cycle route running between the stunning Penshurst Place & Gardens and Tonbridge Motte and Bailey castle.   

Suitability:

Mainly easy cycling bar one steep hill (well worth it for the view!)

The Forest Way

In East Sussex – The Forest Way is a family friendly, off-road cycle route running between Groombridge just to the East or Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead via Hartfield (famous for Winnie the Pooh)

Suitability:

Mainly easy cycling suitable for the whole family as well as child seats and tagalongs.

The Cuckoo Trail

In East Sussex – The Cuckoo Trail is a family friendly, off-road cycle route running between Heathfield (South of Tunbridge Wells) and Polegate (Nr Eastbourne)

Suitability:

Mainly easy cycling suitable for the whole family as well as child seats and tagalongs.

Lamberhurst to Bewl Water

In Kent – The route is based from the wonderful Vineyard pub to Bewl Water along the lanes

Suitability:

Moderate cycling suitable for adults or elder children comfortable with cycling on lanes. Some hills.
