FAQs
The e-bikes don’t do all the work and you still have to pedal but they do make it so much easier to cope any hills you may encounter. Your don’t need to be super fit but a base level of fitness will help you enjoy the experience all the more.
You should expect to do around 15miles of cycling at a minimum each day depending on how exact you follow our route. The batteries of the bikes are designed to last for about twice that distance (depending on weight, hills and setting) and so you should have plenty of juice in the tank to be supported by the motor the whole route if you charge the batteries again after the first day cycle ride.
The basic trip is not guided although we may be able to provide a guide along with luggage transfer for an additional fee that we list as an extra (specific for each trip) above. We provide a carefully curated cycle route to follow but it is down to you how closely you follow it. Do note however that time and thought goes into choosing the route we have recommended to avoid where possible the more challenging roads and hills in the area and also pick up the best scenery and sights along the way.
If you get a puncture or encounter another problem during your trip then get in touch and we will come to your assistance. If you are confident with fixing punctures yourself then great. Our bikes will come with a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube for you to fix the puncture yourself if you wish. Please ensure to let us know of the incident too, avoid using the e-assistance on the bike and we will meet you at the next convenient planned stop to give the bike a proper check over.
